Whelton's Centra is a Retail & Catering Business, located near UCC in Cork. We provide Catering for all small to medium functions from Birthdays, Communions, Meetings and Bereavement Services. As all our food is prepared instore by our Deli Staff, we are the most competitive in the market.
Retail
Our Family Run Centra Store employs over 20 staff and provides a convenient shopping solution for those with busy lifestyles. Our in store services include an in store ATM, Lotto, Off Licence, Electricity top up, as well as the regular Hot & Cold Food, fresh pre pack meats and ready meal options.
We have a reputation for quality, value and friendly service, and the fact that our store is family owned and operated by local people means that shoppers get the best of both worlds - commitment to the traditional values of good fresh foods and excellent services, combined with offers and value for money from the CENTRA brand.
Catering
Our aim is to provide our customers with excellent quality catering Products and Service that will make your Function a success without any of the stress. And for you to feel you really got value for money and would return to us again.
Our primary Catering market is small to medium family or business functions, from 10 to 100 people., Birthdays, Communions, Christenings, Meetings, Bereavements etc. We can guarantee that we will offer you the most competitive price in the market because of our low cost base. All our Food Staff are fully trained on food preparation, so we are able to create your orders within the existing business, therefore reducing excessive preparation cost. Our store is recognised by Excellence Ireland's Food Safety Awards.
Off-Licence
We believe today’s even more adventurous consumer needs choice. Centra brings wine, beer, and spirits from all corners of the globe.
However our core business is Wine and Beers. We have the most competitively priced selection that can match any of the multiples as all our Wines and Beers come from the SuperValu/Centra supply chain. If you are using our Catering Service we guarantee that we can better the price of your alcohol requirements over any other retailer. Just ask, and as we are local we can negotiate!
